Sarah Nave, RDN, LD
Sarah provides nutritional counseling and dietary services at Beacon. Watching multiple family members, including her mom, be diagnosed with cancer has lead Sarah into the area of oncology. Through her own experiences, she knows the importance of having a supportive team on your side and is committed to treating all patients like family. The misconceptions surrounding nutrition and cancer are overwhelming, and Sarah is dedicated to making sure her patients get accurate information.
Sarah has worked as a Registered Dietitian in our community for the past 10 years gaining valuable experience in the hospital, outpatient oncology clinic, family practice and home health care settings. She is committed to providing her patients and their loved ones with evidence-based nutrition that helps them achieve an optimal nutrition status. “Good nutrition choices contribute to better health, wellbeing and treatment tolerance, including management of side effects that may make eating more difficult.”
Sarah was born and raised in North Idaho. She and her husband Eric reside in Spirit Lake where they are raising their two kids, Katie and Levi. They spend most of their free time watching their kids compete in sports and boating and fishing on the area’s lakes and rivers with family and friends.
