Dr. Dustin Dinning

Dr. Dustin Dinning has been practicing rheumatology in the Coeur d’Alene area for over 10 years. He looks forward to continuing to serve this area for years to come. He would like to welcome past patients and will continue to open his practice up for new patients. One of the many reasons Dr. Dinning chose rheumatology is he is able to develop a long-term relationship with his patients. Rheumatologic diseases, although very treatable, are chronic diseases that may last for the rest of a patient’s life. Having a good physician-patient relationship is vital for success in treatment.
Dr. Dinning treats a variety of autoimmune disease including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, myositis, and vasculitis. These complicated diseases often require special, targeted medications and Dr Dinning’s passion is having a thorough understanding of the available therapies and being able to help patients feel comfortable with their options.
Dr. Dinning was born and raised in the North Idaho/Eastern Washington area. He attended Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA for his undergraduate studies. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences for medical school. He completed is internship, residency and rheumtatology fellowship at Michigan State University. Dr. Dinning did all his training alongside his wife, Andrea, who is a local internal medicine physician. He also has two active daughters. Dr. Dinning’s family is his priority and most of his free time is spent with them. He enjoys waterfowl hunting, hiking, boating, and weight lifting.
